Phil Hudema was born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. He attended Fraser Valley Adventist Academy and pursued his love of teaching at Canadian Union College. After teaching at College Heights he made his way down to Tampa, Florida where he taught for 17 years.
Next stop was Newbury Park, CA where he was principal at Conejo Adventist for 10 years. He is married to Kristie for 28 years and has two children, Seth a student at Walla Walla University and his daughter Madison who is a senior at Mt. Ellis Academy. When not working with our schools and youth he enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, camping, dirt biking, and spending time with his family. He has a passion for our young people and believes that Adventist Education is so instrumental for helping us prepare our youth for the second coming.
Adventist Education In Montana
With 12 elementary schools and one academy our conference is a strong supporter of Adventist Education. Montana churches are dedicated in making sure that SDA schools are one of the most important parts of their local budgets. Mt. Ellis Academy, one of the oldest boarding schools in North America, has been offering a quality Christian education for well over a hundred years. God has blessed our schools and we know that Christian education “doesn’t cost…it pays!”
